On Dec 6, 2007 the Vancouver Island Education & Career Fair will be held at the Victoria Conference Centre. The promoters of this Education & Career Fair tout it as “one of the largest career planning events in British Columbia! With exhibits in a trade show format and feature areas along with seminars, each Education & Career Fair is designed to help attendees develop or change their career path. The Fair introduces a variety of post secondary education choices, career and employment options and provide labour market information.â€
I have attended the fair in the past years and I especially recommend it to people who are interested in learning more about various fields including training options.
The Career Centre has free tickets to the afternoon portion of this event in our Resource Room. For a list of exhibitors and seminar topics, please visit the Vancouver Island Education & Career Fair Website. Â
