Office Administrator

Wage: Dependent on Experience
Hours per week: 37.5

Job duties include:

  • Maintaining the client database
  • Maintaining adequate office supplies, stationary and forms
  • Ensuring all office equipment is adequately and properly maintained
  • Keeping office tidy and presentable for clients
  • Processing all incoming and outgoing mail
  • Maintaining storage of records
  • Organizing and maintaining general office administration files
  • Handling and recording all payments and deposits
  • Printing and assembling financial statements and corporate income tax returns
  • Printing and assembling personal tax returns
  • Administering E-File
  • Completing some monthly bookkeeping using Quickbooks, Sage, or Caseware for some clients, on an as needed basis
  • Handling all reception duties including greeting and assisting clients
Education required:

Completion of an Office Administration Certificate is preferred.

Experience & skills:

Applicants should have strong organizational, administrative and interpersonal skills. Be able to work in a computerized setting, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and contribute to a team environment.
