A new temp agency has recently opened their doors in the Oceanside area. I spoke with Kelly, one of the co-owners, of A Temp Above, and she is excited to bring her previous skills and expertise of working in a temp agency in eastern Canada, to our region. Currently they are taking resumes for administrative, general labour and cleaning positions. The starting wage will be at least $10/hour for any temp position. Kelly stated that she really wants to meet the needs of the community and she “guarantees all their employees are highly compensated, exceeding local industry standards.” This is a great way for employers to get the extra help they may need at busy times without having to take on the extra stress of the paperwork required to hire new staff. Not an employer but need some extra help at home? A Temp Above will also provide residential services such as general yard work, handymen and residential cleaners. Each employee is screened and reference checked and will be covered by WCB
